Engineer

The Candidate
Temporary Works Design is looking for a technically strong and motivated Engineer. Someone who can design, calculate and sketch - in short - a typical engineer. The candidate is soon to graduate, or recent graduate, with a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology, Offshore Technology or Civil Engineering. Equivalent technical field can be considered. Experience is not required, however appreciated. The ideal candidate has the following competences:

• Basics in mechanics (materials, calculus, stress design, stability)
• Skills in engineering tools (FEM, Excel)
• Creative (alternative solutions)
• Accurate and eager to learn
• Flexible (working under pressure, dealing with new situations and feedback)
• Motivated and dedicated
• Knowledge of materials, standard solutions, and fabrication process
• Good understanding of the English language
  
  

As an engineer you are responsible for the independent design of (sub)constructions. You elaborate sketches and ideas into calculation models. In close cooperation with draftsmen, you are the driving force of the company.
